Dear customers,

We are in the process of moving our servers and changing to our latest software.

There is never a good time for an internet business to move however our time has come and we are finally making the transition.

Please expect all sorts of issues from:

1. Strange emails (this will happen as we close down old programmes and perhaps mistakenly execute legacy code which could produce a plethora of interesting results).
2. Inaccessibility, our DNS servers will be changing and you may experience difficulties locating your website.
3. Possibly even bulk or duplicate emails... this can happen as scripts are executed for the first time.
4. You may even win multiple "prizes" from our sweepstakes game, please note these have all been closed down and any potential prizes "won" will be in error.
5. Broken code - as our sites start to re-emerge, there may very well be broken code. We are working on checking everything however it may happen that we miss something.
6. Many other potential hiccups as we make this transition...

Please bear with us and we look forward to seeing you on the other side...

Dear Lottery players,

Please be advised that we are in the process of changing our merchant provider and as such we are currently unable to accept direct Credit Card payments. While this is slightly inconvenient for all our players, we are not happy with our current provider and have thus opted to cut ties and integrate directly into the banking beast. Unfortunately this does take a little time and we where not prepared for the sudden change in our processing status. Once our new system is up and running we will have further payment options that our users can use in order to safely transact with us.

At present you can transact using:

NETeller.com or MoneyBookers.com

We do understand that it is a bit of a pain to set up these accounts however we have the assurance of the respective business managers that we can prioritise your account setup and on the condition you get in touch with us and let us know. You may discover that once your account has been set up, it proves to be a convenient way to make payments online. As a relatively large business many of our business transactions are done via MoneyBookers.com and we can vouch for their excellent fees and service (of course we have had to comply a plethora of red tape that any financial institution requires, and so will you).

We will let all our customers know as soon as our new merchant accounts are online.

Dear Customers,

Over the last 7 days we started to receive "Implausible Address Data" error message on some of our customer transactions. We are attempting to have this sorted out with our acquiring bank.

We have included the address data we are sending to the acquiring bank in the payment form so please make sure your information is exactly as it is on your credit card statement. We will keep you updated as soon as we have a resolution in this matter.

If you are unable to make your payment as a result of this, please use our NETeller.com or Moneybookers.com service. They are e-wallets and a very secure (and smart) way to pay and play online. Accepted by hundreds of thousands of merchants globally.

If you are playing from India - NETeller.com is the best option.

Please do not hesitate to contact support where I am arming the email responses.

Hello good people,

Saturday if anyone was trying to get in touch would have noticed that our servers/sites/email pretty much everything was out of reach. Turns out one of our aging relics which has been loyally serving web pages to our customers for the past 4 years gave in and spat out its hard drive. This was our lonely web server which finally gave in leaving us with sweaty hands and heart palpitations .

But with everything there is some good news. Next years software release found its self being released yesterday since we decided to make the most of the down time. What this means is that, while you will only see the same boring sites, we now have a uber fast infrastructure with limitless potential. Creating new sites which has been a pain up until now becomes a self managed process and we will no be able to release all our affiliate sites which of course you as a customer can use to your hearts content.

Our aim for the future is to create a massive network of lottery real estate, in many languages and circumnavigating the globe and providing a mix of lotto, sweepstakes and other games that we will plug into the user experience.

Have a great day, a happy new year and a jolly festive season!

Dear LotteryNetwork users,

This week we updated our top level branding from lottery.im to lotterynetwork.net which we feel is a better representation of our business and what we do. As we are regulated in the Netherlands Antilles it seemed inappropriate to have an Isle of Man domain name which may have caused confusion and misrepresentation of our business and our services.

Our system is a network of lottery sites allowing a global syndication of ticket buying. Our platform allows the rapid development and deployment of lottery related games all of which can be played via our networking software. In the next month we will be releasing Beta 1 of our Networking software which will be available in all customer account - Full functionality of this will be revealed on release.

We had a slight hicup with our payment pages and support pages during this transition however everything appears to be running smoothly. Please contact us via the support desk should you have any queries/concerns.

We are aware of a number of duplicate transactions that went through during this process and we are currently crediting effected customer accounts.

All users who receive credits will be contacted.

Kind Regards,

Sunseven NV and the Lotterynetwork.net

What is a lottery scam?

In a nut shell - scammers send out bulk spam email to thousands of potential victims around the world telling them they have won a massive prize for an international lottery. Usually these lotteries are genuine lotteries. Once the victim is hooked - they are convinced that they need to pay a fee to receive the prize. Once the fee has been paid - you will never see them again... however in some cases the scammers will convince their victims that there has been a mixup and you need to pay even more money to resolve the issue...

Where can I find out about these types of scams?

The simplest way is to Google it! Here are some searches we have done:
